Week 19 – Forgiveness

While on a mission looking for kindness, my son kindly sent me this movie which amazes me at how wrong I was about understanding forgiveness.  Forgiveness is not (primarily) about the person being forgiven.  Lack of forgiveness is like eating rat poison and waiting for the rat to die.  Forgiveness has nothing to do about the rat in your life.  Forgiveness frees me, it does not erase the hurt or pain or anger but it allows me to move away from becoming an angry bitter old man.  “I choose to forgive because it sets ME free.”

To access the Divine and connect the subconscious to the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Creator we must forgive everyone and anyone to clear the channel. There can be no connection to the Divine mind where anger or resentment against a brother or sister justified or not, exists.

Vengeance belongs to God.

Let’s learn to dwell in peace and joy.  Trust in Him to take care of us.  Fill yourself with gratitude, joy and peace – and simply trust in Him.

I hope your brain is spinning like mine. Forgiveness takes on a whole new meaning for me now.  I forgive, I forgive, I forgive… It just adds to the amazing weeks I am starting to have now.  I truly believe our mastermind is in perfect harmony as we continue to teach each other the new found skills that are amazing us each time we execute.

  1. Wow! What a blessing you have been by sharing that message on forgiveness — my prayer now is that all who need to hear it will open their ears and hearts, and be healed. Sounds like He’s already doing a mighty work in your life — may your journey continue to be truly blessed as you bless the rest of us!
